NIMA HARYANA: Growth & Evolution
- NIMA (National Integrated Medical Association) is an all India organization for graduates of Integrated (Ayurveda & allied systems) Medicine, registered as a society and public trust.
- The Haryana state branch has been active for decades, with 54 branches
- Sustained Growth: The Haryana branch began in 1976 as a small group of ISM graduates and merged into the national NIMA in 1982, growing from a handful to over 3000+ active members today.
- Holistic Influence: NIMA Haryana doesn’t just focus on medicine—it leads in culture, legal awareness, women’s empowerment, and environmental stewardship.
- Community Anchoring: With influential leaders locally and state-wide NIMA Haryana leverages leadership to connect outreach and professional advocacy
Pillars of Excellence: Key Activities & Impact
Healthcare & Community Service
- Regular free medical camps, public health awareness events, and Sanitary Napkin distribution and education—especially targeting girls’ menstrual hygiene—demonstrate a strong community commitment.
- Celebrations and campaigns on World Health Days, Women’s Forum events, blood donation drives, and tree planting & cleanliness initiatives further underscore NIMA Hisar’s social outreach .
Organizational Leadership & Structure
- A well structured executive team and multiple committees (e.g. legal action, culture, medical camp, education, sports, women wing) have enhanced coordination and impact across diverse areas.
- Consistent leadership— All past President and General Secretary with their whole executive teams and each and every life member of NIMA Haryana has maintained stability and growth over years.
